While the news of a 2007 'Halo 3' release is certainly no surprise, it's always fun to get confirmation, which came yesterday via Bill Gate's keynote speech at the Consumer Electronics Show.

Of course, the exact date remains a mystery, but one would assume 'Halo 3' will follow its predecessors with a November launch.

Speaking of November launches, it was also announced yesterday that 'Gears of War', which launched in November 2006, sold 2.6 million copies in eight weeks. That's one copy sold every 3 seconds for 56 days. Can you believe it?
