
I thought it'd be interesting to compare the prices of the various territories to the cost here in the US. Keep in mind, the US dollar is very weak right now, so we're actually getting it cheap (if you consider $600 cheap). Below is the launch price in "x" territory and then the cost in US dollars.
So, as you can see, I'm sure everybody is going to run out and buy one, plus games, and controllers. This is particularly true because of all of the amazing hype that the PS3 has generated here in the States.
Oh, sorry, I had my facetious hat on. Let me take that off. Actually, I think that Europeans, who are usually a little more discreet with their spending and already feel slighted for the delay, will opt for the Wii and/or Xbox 360.

Now I dont follow video game news that closely, so correct me if im wrong but didn't sony announce that their games would be region free? just another way sony abuses the market that can only support them.
