Allison pointed me to this blog post about a customer's experience with Nintendo's customer service.
It goes something like this: Hi, my Wii is broken. Oh, you live in Redmond (Nintendo HQ). Just bring it in. Half an hour later, after playing Nintendo games in the waiting room, Wii fixed, new warranty, everybody really nice.
Obviously, to get that warm fuzzy feeling, you should probably read the bloggers entire post and check out the pictures on the right side of her blog.
Oh, and Sony, you may want to take note of this. The unbelieveable amount of free internet press this story is getting right now (was #1 on Digg and Reddit...now in top 5) is worth a million bucks. Instead of paying bloggers to make fake sites, why don't you just make nice with the consumer and offer really good customer service? It's invaluable.
