What's this? A story on the PS2? That's what I was asking when I started to read this Slate article.

There's nothing shocking in it, just a well written piece about how the PS2 is still the number one selling console and how "God of War 2" is going to be one of the year's biggest games.

If you are out of the gaming loop a bit and want a quick read to catch you back up so that you can impress your friends, then this is the article for you.
