Just an observation here, but Nintendo has begun listing Super Mario Galaxy as a 1-2 player game. I first spotted this at the official game page at wii.nintendo.com, then confirmed it at Nintendo's press site.

While 1-2 players could merely mean the addition of a couple of multiplayer games on the disc, I'm hoping for a little "drop-in/drop-out" action akin to that found in the LEGO Star Wars games. I'm a big fan of this type of multiplayer gaming, as, when executed correctly, it maintains the integrity of the game, while adding a new layer of gaming, if desired, to it.



I'll keep my fingers crossed.
