It's Monday, which means twonew titles are available on the Nintendo Wii's Shop Channel.
Drumroll please...
- Splatterhouse (TurboGrafx16 , 600 Wii Points)
- Beyond Oasis (Sega Genesis, 800 Wii Points)
Both titles are new to us, but, from what I gather,
Splatterhouse is a sidescrolling monster adveture which happened to be among the first titles to cause a "video games and violence" stir, while
Beyond Oasis is an action RPG that was released at the end of the Sega Genesis lifespan.

I am loving the description for Splatterhouse:
Rick and Jennifer, both parapsychology students at the local university, are visiting West Mansion, site of the research lab where the famed Dr. West conducted some of his most gruesome expirements. A sudden storm forces them to find shelter inside the Mansion.
After being attacked by monsters...
