With the launch of the PS3 in Europe tomorrow, Sony can't be happy about the sign below, taken at a Newcastle, UK, Virgin store.

Granted, Sony has been stockpiling PS3s so that they're widely available, still, you'd think that demand would outstrip supply.

I'd imagine that Nintendo has also been stockpiling Wiis and will release a big batch of them tomorrow to directly compete with the PS3.

As anecdotal evidence of the European launch comes in over the weekend we'll be sure to report it to you.
