Over the weekend, I read every news article I could regarding the launch of the PS3 in Europe and Australia. The consensus seems to be that it went pretty poorly, with the Xbox 360 outselling the PS3 in some stores, and the launch numbers from Australia coming in behind the numbers for the Wii and 360.
There are a few bright spots, however, and that namely, is that due to the delay Sony was able to stockpile 220,000 PS3s in the UK, more than for any console launch in history. So, if you want one, you can get one.
