As for details, most of which have already been noted in a few gaming magazines, the most notable is the new dynamic weather system. Rain or snow flurries could hit at anytime during your race, and these changing conditions aren't just for show. The driving will actually become more difficult as the driving physics change.
Another new feature is that of a growing fanbase that will follow you around as you win more and more races in career mode, which won't be as easy as we're being promised better AI in our competitors.
A "revised" Kudos system is in the works, offering a new way for you to earn points when driving with style. (Truthfully, I don't know how I feel about this upgrage, as the Kudos system has always been my favorite aspect of the game. Why mess with greatness?)
Finally, we know that the game will feature races in 12 cities, including St. Petersburg and Shanghai, AND an entirely new selection of cars. At this point Microsoft has only released seven of them (below), but promise more details later this month.
