OMG! GTA 4 delayed? So surmises Wedbush analyst, Michael Pacther:

We believe that it is possible that the company will choose to 'throw in the towel' on [its 2007 financial year] by shifting the release date for Grand Theft Auto IV by a few weeks, increasing the losses incurred this year and improving the company's prospects for FY:08. (Source

Now, I'm not a huge fan of Michael Pachter, nor video game analysts in general, but he has been right a few times and it's an interesting suggestion that he makes...that Take-Two would move the release back to show good '08 fiscal results for the year, and that they would want to get a bit of separation from Halo 3.

I wonder how Sony feels about this knowing that this game will be a big driver of PS3 sales (yes, I know it's also on the X360).
