While it does make me sad, it does save about 100 hours of my life which I would have spent playing online.
I also respect the fact that the developers wanted to focus on a great single player experience and just didn't have time for multiplayer.
But, hey, with the Wii online, don't count out a downloadable add-on at a later date.
