We've been out of town for a few days, so forgive me if this is old news...but Heavenly Sword, the potential killer app Sony has been waiting for for the PS3, reportedly only provides six to eight hours of gameplay!?!?!?!

According to Gamespot, the six to eight hours are intense, awesome, and live up to the Heavenly Sword hype, but will gamers be willing to spend $60 on a game that provides an afternoon of entertainment? Possibly. However, since this was supposed to be a game that would sell PS3s, the bigger question is, will gamers be willing to spend $60 for the game plus $499 for the console? Probably not.

At least everyone will have Heavenly Sword to go back to (and rent) when a true killer app comes out that really does move PS3s.
