The saying goes, "You can never go home again." In Sony's case, "You can never go home."
The much ballyhooed and highly anticipated "Home" player community for the PS3 has been delayed until early 2008. It was set to launch this fall.
Sony say that they are simply not ready to launch it and still have some kinks to work out. Finally, a good decision by Sony. If something is not ready, don't launch it.
Nonetheless, this is a hit for the PS3 as it attempts to battle, sans Home, the Xbox 360 and Wii this holiday season. Perhaps 2008 will be the year of the PS3...or maybe 2009.
