Truth be told, Insecticide for the DS has not been a blip on my radar. However, for whatever reason, I opted to check out the new trailer today over at GameTrailers.com, and, as a big Tim Schafer fan, am I happy I did. Other fans will surely spot some Psychonauts and Grim Fandango notes in the little game.



While the game seems to have no direct connection to Shafer, its developer, Crackpot Entertainment, consists of several key team members who worked on many a Shafer game. You can certainly tell.

Look for Insecticide to hit the DS and PC in January 2008.
