The latest video game sales numbers are in. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that 4.3 million Xbox 360s were sold in the fourth quarter of 2007, bringing the grand total to 17.7 million.

Both Halo 3 (8.1 million units) and Mass Effect (1.6 million) have helped sales.

Meanwhile, Nintendo is reporting that it is on track to sell 17.5 million Wiis by the end its fiscal year in March, 2008. Sony is on track to sell 11 million PS3s by that same date.
