The year, 1999. Allison and I, recently out of college, discovered our mutual love of video games. Never was this more apparent than with 1080, the groundbreaking snowboarding game from Nintendo.

Watching the above video brings back some wonderful memories, akin to what I imagine normal people would experience by watching a vacation video, of Michelob Light, Ricky Winterborn (which we always pronounced Wicky Winterborn), and "work you body, work, work your body."

Yes, this game sucked up a great many hours of our time and we actually got quite good at the game. If only it was online at the time. We may have been ranked in the top 100! Oh, what could've been.

Why this trip down memory lane? Because the Wii Virtual Console game for the week is 1080!
