Great Fairy Guide
The Great Fairies in "Wind Waker" will make your wallet bigger, allow you to carry more BOMBS and ARROWS, and will give you other
kinds of interesting and necessary upgrades. The following Fairy Locations are purely in order of where they appear on the map:
Northern Fairy Island - You will need BOMBS to enter the fairy house. For going you will get a WALLET upgrade.
Mother and Child Isles - This is a big one. You can only enter this area by warping to it with your Ballad of Gales. This can
only happen after you have both the BOW and ARROWS, and your MASTER SWORD. Here you will gain the power of the FIRE and ICE ARROWS.
Western Fairy Island - You need your SKULL HAMMER to hit the switch in front of the fairy house. You will be given an ARROW upgrade.
Eastern Fairy Island - BOMB the rock blocking the Fairy House, drop down and you'll get a BOMB upgrade.
Thorned Fairy Island - Use your SKULL HAMMER on the three switches, enter the Fairy House and get an ARROW upgrade.
Southren Fairy Island - You'll need BOMBS to enter, and for doing so, you'll get a BOMB upgrade.
Outset Island - Go up to the broken suspension bridge and climb up on the rock. Change the wind direction with your WIND WAKER
so that it's behind you and use your DEKU LEAF to glide across and go through the cave entrance.
Go forward and jump up the ledges. Read the sign. It says, "Fairy Fountain Site." This place
is otherwise known as Fountain of the Fortune Goddess. BOMB the rock. Drop down. The Fairy will give you
a larger WALLET. Wow! Step into the light beam and exit.
Two-Eye Reef - Fight the four-eyed giant squid to free the Fairy. For this you will get a MAGIC METER increase.
