"D" Missions (Ricardo Diaz)
The Chase
Go to the thief's house and find out where he's stashing the money. Head to the Pink dot. Walk into the Pink glow.
Take a look in his window. Walk up the stairs to the Pink glow by the window.
He's escaped to the roof, keep on his tail, but don't kill him. Chase him across the roof...just follow the
Yellow dot. Try not to fall through the roof gaps. Keep chasing and he'll eventually go to a car. At this point,
you'll realize that you don't have much of a choice in cars to chase him with, so, our advice is to park
a car at the end of the roofs (where the Thief jumps off the roof and into his car) so that when you're done
chasing him on the roof, you have something decent to go after him in.
Then, just keep chasing him in the car.
You've earned $1,000.
Phnom Penh '86
You're the gunner in a helicopter. Shoot the gunmen when prompted. Keep your eye out for gas barrels, as shooting them can
cause major damage to a lot of baddies.
You can also shoot at cars some of the gunmen hide behind. Damage the cars enough with your gunfire, and they'll explode.
Collect the money from the roof. Go inside the mansion. Take care of the gun men inside. Run up the stairs to the roof
and grab the money. A chopper will come get you.
You've earned $2000.
The Fastest Boat
Go to the boatyard at the docks and steal the fastest boat. Head to the Yellow dot by exiting the Mansion
and turning left. Then, cross the bridge and head left (South). You'll be in the Docks. Find where the Yellow
dot is located and grab 2 Big Rigs (Linerunner). Position one at the end of the fence near where you leave the road.
Take the other one right into the heart of the bad guys at the Yellow dot. Run them over, kill as many as you can.
If the first Linerunner catches fire, leave it, and run to the other one you have parked behind you. Take the
surviving Semi
into the Garage/Boat Storage place and run over anyone you can there, too. If you haven't run over
all the guys by now, shoot the remainder with whatever gun is around.
You don't have to do it this way...it's just what worked for us.
Find the switch to lower the boat. The switch is located in the Garage/Boat Storage Area. You'll see a Pink glow.
Once you lower the boat, more bad guys will come out. Kill them and enter the boat using the "Triangle" button.
Get the boat to the mansion. Now, get the boat back. You'll have a wanted rating, so get moving! Go to the Pink dot.
You've earned $4000.
Supply and Demand
Go to the fastest boat at the jetty. Go to the Pink dot...it's exactly where you left it from the previous "Fastest Boat" mission.
Get to the Yacht before the other boats do. Race to the Yacht. There's really no secret. Just stay under control.
Now, you turn into the gunner/shooter on the boat. First, blow up the boat behind you. Then, shoot the
bad dudes on the jetty, if you can. Then, shoot the Helicopter above you. Then shoot the boat that's infront of you.
You've earned $10,000.
Rub Out
Kill Diaz. Take a car and run over anyone and everyone you can on the outside of the Mansion.
Then, kill any remaining outdoor guards. Go into the downstairs Swimming Pool room and up the stairs
into Diaz's Mansion. Take out the guards on the stairs and pay attention to the Pink dot. When it
turns from the Up Triangle to the Dot, you're on Diaz's level. So, get ready, and pump Diaz full of
lead serveral times over. Eventually, you'll get the cut-scene and Diaz will die.
Congrats! You now have your own Mansion...and a new save point. You're movin' on up.
