"K" Missions (Kent Paul)

This mission is pretty hard, so don't get discouraged.

Rescue Lance from the Junkyard. OK, before you activate the mission, go to Ammu-Nation and get the Ingram and the Body Armor, then head to the Pink dot to start the mission. Choose whatever fast car is around once the mission begins, then, head north out of Kent Paul's and cross the bridge heading West to get to Lance in a timely manner. Here's the strategy...you're going to ram the first set of dudes blocking the entrance, and then continue recklessly in your car until you get near the Hangar/Garage where they're keeping Lance. Lance is the Yellow dot. Your car will probably be on fire by now, so ditch it, but don't let it hit Lance. Run behind the area where Lance is kept, regroup, and then come out and kill any and every guy you see from a distance. This will help to keep you protected. Be very aware of the bad dude above on the crane/backhoe thing. This will leave you with the three guys protecting Lance. Take them out one at a time. Then, talk to Lance.

Get Lance to the Hospital. So, now you have Lance. Take out any remaining dudes quickly...don't let them shoot Lance. Then, run to the Garbage Truck (Trashmaster?) and make sure that Lance gets in with you. Now, work your way to the Hospital, the Pink dot. There will be many, many cars attacking you...that's why you're in such a big truck. Just make sure not to roll. Keep a steady course and they shouldn't be able to hurt the Garbage Truck. Stop in front of the Hospital. You'll see a Pink glow.

You've earned $0. How cruddy is that?

Lunabeanie GameMaster offers this tip for those still having problems with this mission:
To beat this mission with ease take to the sky's. Take the chopper to the place and accept the mission. After doing you will be timed to get over to the location and save Lance. Fly your chopper you brought across the sky saving you a fair amount of time. You'll have to park it in the street because the Maverick is to weak to land in the center of the gun fire. Use the uzi and take out the people in the first section. Because you took the chopper you still have plenty of time. Get back in the chopper and fly it over the gates into the first area that you cleared out. Get out and head to the complex taking out the guys and save Lance. Now you have to take Lance to the hospital, but once you leave the complex there after you. This is why you cleared out the first part of the complex and flew the chopper in there. You can easly get in the chopper and take off. They won't start chasing you until your high in the sky. And you can easily get the the hospital far ahead of the other. (If you don't want to easy chopper method, take the car down the long grass back, leading you a good distance ahead of the cars).
