Star Forge

Cut scene of the Republic battle plan going bad. You are talking to a hologram. Carth tells the Admiral that Bastila has turned to the darkside and is using her battle meditation against the Republic force. Once that's over and you land, choose your party...we chose Carth and Jolee.

Now off of the Ebon Hawk you'll meet some fellow Jedi. Then, some Sith will come out. Kill them. Head down the South path and go through the doors. You'll get a cut scene of Lord Malak being informed of your presence. He sends out super droids against you. Take out the 4 of them with your droid destroy and other normal means. You can go East or West. Go West. More droids. Use your force powers again. Continue down the path. More droids. Path, more droids, etc. Do this until you get to the Dark Jedis kicking the butts of the good jedis. Go down their and show them who's boss. Now you can go East or West. Go West. More droids. Go through the West Door to Deck 2.

Move forward and another cut scene. Malak's droids didn't do the job. Malak will send out the troops and apprentices. Follow the path and you'll run into some apprentices, troopers, and dark jedis. Take them all out. There are some Sith Heavy Troopers along the south path here, too. Now, regroup a little and heal. Check the remains. Again, there is a Southern path and a path to the East. Go South. Lots of Dark Jedis have followed you as well as some Sith troopers. They'll track you down around this area. They are pretty mean. I recommend a save somewhere in there. Once they're all dead, heal and re-amp yourself with adrenal uppers and the such. Still, head down the Southern path and go through the door.

There will be many a chain gun turret. Go West. Use your destroy droid on them. There will also be some apprentices. Continue on West. There is an elevator door here but we have to check out what's to the East. So, run back around and head East from where you came in. Ther is a door there. Go through and through the next one. You'll fight 3 sith apprentices. There will also be some Dark Jedis and troopers who will track you down here. Again, very mean. Keep healing through the start menu if you need to. Once they're disposed of, continue into the computer room and go to the computer terminal. You can create stuff in the replicator if you want. All three terminals do the same thing so don't waste your spikes. Head back to the West and head to the elevator. Along the way kill who you need to kill. It'll be tough simply because there are so many guys to kill.

Go through the elevator door to the Command Center. Cut scene of Malak and Bastila. Save. Exit out to the main hallway. You are now in the Command Center. There will be some troopers, dark jedis, and apprentices. You know how to kill them. Do so. Save.

Continue down the path to the South. You may be attacked by more guys. This is getting ridiculous. When you can, make your way down the main hallway and take the first door to the East. More guys to kill. It's an onslaught of Dark Jedis, Apprentices, etc. You really have to have a battle plan going in. Make sure that you're party has all the best equipment equipped. Once you get rid of the many bad guys follow the path. As always, save before and after this battle. The path goes to the North and you'll have to go through a door. Do so.

A Sith Trooper will be waiting for you as well and many more of the usual guys beyond him. You'll see some Dark Jedi putting a field on the door so that it can't open until you kill them. The path now goes off to the East. Go through the door. And here we have Bastila.

Tell her that you'll never give up on her. You are on your own with Bastila. She shouldn't be that hard to damage. Once you take her down about 3/4 of the way you talk to her again. Tell her "you've been consumed by the Dark Side." Then, tell her Malak will kill you first. Then, you're dooming yourself. Fighting continues. She has full health again. Rats. Again, fight her until her health is almost gone and you'll speak to her again. Tell her you have not faltered. Again, she has full health and you'll battle her again. Go into the start menu and use as many health packs as you can. Once again, hurt her until you can talk to her. Tell her now you can see the dark side is not stronger than the light side. Tell her you won't kill her. Tell her you can reject the dark side. Tell her I was redeemed. Tell her you did protect me. Tell her to Help us defeat the Sith. Tell her that you trust her. Tell her you won't hurt me. Tell her you want her by your side. However, the risk is too great. Bastila will stay in the chamber and use her battle meditation for good. Yay! You've rescued Bastila from the Dark Side.

Now that you've saved Bastila, you must find and destroy Malak. No problem. You are still in the battle meditation area with Bastila. Go through the South door. You are all alone. Now in a large hallway go through the next door. Malak!

Tell him to surrender. Tell him I was saved you can too. The door will shut and there will be many many droids to kill, Malak's Droids to be exact. There is a computer terminal corresponding with each type of droid. In other words, there is a computer terminal A, B, C, D, E, F. You need to log into each one and disable the generator. Otherwise, the droids will just keep regenerating. Sometimes it's a little hard to get to a terminal with all those robots attacking you. Remember to use your "B" button to get out of battle mode so that you can run where you need to run. The order doesn't really matter. We went to terminal E first. Disable the generator. Then, we went across to C. Disable. Next, A. Next, B. Next, D. Finally, F.

Now, it's time to toast Malak, himself. Go through the Elevator Door East to the Factory. Save. Go through the door. Enable your shields and power ups and go forward and face Malak. Tell him the lightside is stronger than you know. Tell him you'll never serve the Dark Side again. Tell him, I believe in the power of redemption. Now you fight.

A tough battle. He's very hard to hit. Equip anything that increases your attack and damage. You may also want to put on some heavy armor even though it lessens your force power. We wore Davik's Battle Suit. Once you damage him a little, he'll run away and talk to you. Tell him, Is there some point to this. He shows you all the captive Jedis. Now, go up to each Jedi Captive that you can...all the while running like a mad man...and if you can target them with a Red target, use a force power to free them. We used "destroy droid" but you can also use throw lightsaber or other such force powers. Each time you free one of them your force power goes up. There will be some that can only be targeted in Blue. Don't worry about them. Just get to all of the ones you can target in red. Fight Malak again and this time he'll go running up the stairs and take some power from one of the Jedis. Use this time to heal yourself. Continue running around and healing as your force power allows. When you feel ready, attack Malak again. Remember to save after any significant moment that you might think will help. That way you won't have to do the whole thing over. Anyway, attack Malak. If it gets too hairy, run away and heal. We found that the "throw lighsaber" worked pretty well on him. You could keep your distance and still do some damage. Eventually, you'll beat him. He won't believe it. Typical. Tell him the power of the light will always prevail.

You'll automatically launch and you'll get a movie sequence of the Star Forge being destroyed (as we ended up on the Light Side. Dark Side people get a completely different ending). And we are done. May the Force be with you!
